If you are planning on exploring everything that the South Downs has to offer, our accommodation here at The Badgers pub offers you the perfect place to stay. We have three beautiful rooms which are ideal for offering that taste of rural life, close to local amenities such as the beautiful market town of Petworth with its large manor house and estate, or Goodwood home of many fun-filled events such as motoring and horse racing. This room is The Courtyard, named as such because it faces out to the back of the pub, overlooking our courtyard and terrace area, which basks in sunlight throughout the warmer months. Not only is this room quaint and full of character, but our entire pub and its surroundings are steeped in history – set beside an old water mill beam pump, overlooking the river, perfect for appreciating the quieter pace of life.
